Every winter brings the possibility of snow and ice. Extreme bad weather can cause widespread and prolonged disruption to the school.
Should we have to take the decision to close the school due to bad weather, parents and carers will be contacted by text message using the school messaging service (Teachers 2 Parents). All school transport (from all counties) will also be informed. A message will also appear on the school website.
If you don’t currently receive regular texts from the school, it may mean we don’t have a current mobile telephone number for you. Please contact the school to update us with your details.
If the weather worsens during the school day and we make the decision to close the school early we will call all parents and carers to confirm someone will be home before contacting transport to arrange an early pick up.
