We are seeking to expand our bank of Supply Teaching Assistants to provide cover for staff absences on a casual, as-required basis. This role may involve short-notice cover, so flexibility and reliability are essential.
The successful candidates will be adaptable, confident, and ideally have experience working in a school environment, particularly with pupils who have special educational needs. However, full training and induction will be provided.
Supply Teaching Assistants are paid at an hourly rate of approximately £13.26 per hour, for actual hours worked. Ideally, applicants should be available to work between 8.30am and 3.30pm, and be able to attend at short notice if contacted from 7.30am.
While we cannot guarantee a set number of hours each week, supply staff are generally used on a regular basis. Please note that the recruitment process for supply staff can take 6–8 weeks to complete.
